Plans for the Paraguay-Paraná Waterway hub have only recently been developed, with the first meeting of its Executive Technical Group being held in August 2005. At that meeting it was agreed that the study conducted for the hub’s Business Vision should be expanded so as to include the 4 sub-basins related to the Paraguay-Paraná river system (Tieté-Paraná, Paraguay-Paraná, Uruguay River, and Río de la Plata River). In addition, the delegates present approved a preliminary list of projects that can be further enlarged or modified in the next Technical Group meeting. The projects list will be posted to this site as soon as possible.
